About your child's tests
Your physician may need to conduct additional tests to evaluate your child’s musculoskeletal problem.
Usually, these tests include imaging studies like x-rays and MRIs, which help us take an inside look at your child's bones and muscles. You may schedule these before you leave the office on the day of your visit, or you may call us to make your appointments.
Please note that you may need additional referral forms from your insurance company or your child's physician for these services.
You may expect the following types of imaging tests to help diagnose and evaluate your child's condition or injury:
- bone scans
- MRI
- MRI arthrogram
- CT scan
- x-ray
- PET scan
- Gallium scan
- hip ultrasound
- spine ultrasound
