Small Animal Imaging Core | Overview

Our mission

The Small Animal Imaging Lab (SAIL) Core provides the instrumentation, infrastructure and imaging expertise necessary for the Boston Children’s Hospital research community to take advantage of the benefits that small animal imaging has to offer for basic and translational research. The imaging modalities available through SAIL include ultrasound, radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), single photon emission computed tomography and positron emission tomography, as well as optical and fluorescent imaging.
