The relationship with Boston Children's Hospital is an asset for our student-athletes here at the Fessenden School. Having both a family medicine and sports medicine background, Dr. Geminiani understands our needs as a boarding school with international students for wellness care, physicals, and immunization visits as well as providing care for an orthopedic or musculoskeletal injury. We had an international student who suffered an injury during the wrestling season and, after further evaluation by the school nurses, we sent him to Boston Children's Hospital for tests. It ended up being a complicated case and the student was hospitalized for several days. The level of care our student received would never have happened if it wasn't for the affiliation Fessenden has with Boston Children's. Their immediate response to the injury resulted in the best care possible for the student. Both he and his family were very grateful and continue to praise the work of Dr. Geminiani and Boston Children's Hospital.
