In this electronic day and age it is easier than ever to access information. We all know that some of that information is true and some false. In the field of medicine, it is especially critical that the information you find and trust, must also be valid.

To that end, we have put together some of the most common health topics that you might have questions about. By no means is this list complete, so if you don’t find the answers to your questions here then pick up the phone and call us – if we don’t have the answer at hand, we will find it for you. We have also compiled a list of resources that we consider valid as repositories of quality medical information.

Information about our children comes from many sources – the internet, books, grandparents, friends, playgroups, teachers, etc. Your job as a parent is to filter all of that wealth of information and advice and to then make the decisions that are best for your child. Sometimes the things spoken most loudly and most often seem correct, but that is not always the case. The point is, when seeking information on the internet or wherever, always take what you are reading with a grain of salt and think critically about the information. If it doesn’t make sense, then call us and we can help you find a different source of information, or possibly to give you a different insight on how to evaluate the information at hand.
