Learning can be fun. The Pediatric Environmental Health Center team helped create the following engaging and educational books, stickers, and activities to help teach families about staying safe from environmental exposures in their home.

Germ Buster versus Coronavirus: Mission Disinfection
Written and illustrated by medical students Emily Kragel and Logan Beyer, this fun and engaging coloring book teaches families how to prevent COVID-19 and unhealthy exposures to chemical cleaners and disinfectants. Parents can read along while their little one enjoys the coloring activities. Size: 5.5” x 8”.

I Can Be A Germ Fighting Superhero comic strips
This “Cleaning and Safer Disinfecting Comic Strip” was created and published by the National Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit. This cheery and empowering storyline teaches readers how to remove and kill germs, like the coronavirus, from hard surfaces using safe cleaning and disinfecting practices. Available as full-size coloring books, stickers, and posters.

Happy, Healthy, Lead-Free Me!
Written by Gail C. Gettens and Knatalie Vetter of the New Hampshire Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (HHLPPP) and professionally illustrated by Allison Valentine, this engaging children’s board book entertains children while teaching families all about childhood lead poisoning and how to prevent it. Size: 5.75” x 5.75”.
