Adult Congenital Heart Service

We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical services to adults with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension, from diagnosis to cardiac catheterization and surgical repair.

Cardiac Anesthesia Services

While your child’s surgeon or cardiologist focuses complete attention on the demanding task of repairing a defective heart, our cardiac anesthesiologists work toward the safety and success of the procedure.

Cardiac Anti-Coagulation Program (CAMP)

Boston Children’s Hospital’s Cardiology Anticoagulation Monitoring Program (CAMP) provides quality, comprehensive care to patients with heart disease who are on lifelong anticoagulation medications.

Cardiac Catheterization Program

If your child needs a heart catheterization, there’s no better place for that procedure than Boston Children’s, where your child will be cared for by one of the largest and most experienced pediatric cardiac catheterization programs in the world.

Cardiac Fitness Program

The Cardiac Fitness Program provides structured exercise and education to benefit children and adults with congenital heart conditions.

Cardiac Inpatient Unit

The Cardiac Inpatient Unit is designed to make children feel more relaxed during a hospital stay. Staffed by highly trained cardiologists, cardiac nurses, Child Life specialists, and dietitians, our goal is to make sure your child is comfortable and getting the best care possible.

Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

Our CICU provides care to critically ill patients and their families. A team of experienced physicians and nurses are dedicated to the collaborative management of patients during their stay in the CICU.

Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program

This team provides comprehensive consultation, assessment, and intervention services for children with congenital heart disease and their families.

Cardiology Outpatient Services

We provide comprehensive evaluations and coordinated care for infants, children, and adults with various heart and heart-related conditions.

Cardiomyopathy Program

Our cardiomyopathy experts evaluate and care for babies, children, and teens with this disease.

Cardiovascular Clinic for Brain Development in Genetics

Boston’s Children’s clinicians have helped to diagnose more than 250 patient families with periventricular nodular heterotopia (PVNH) over the past 20 years. Our clinic has an interdisciplinary team of neurologists, genetics, genetic counselors, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other medical specialties to give a comprehensive approach to your child’s disease.

Cardiovascular Genetics Program

This program provides carefully coordinated care, serving the multiple needs of individuals and families with a variety of cardiac and genetic conditions.

Complex Biventricular Repair Program

The Boston Children’s Complex Biventricular Repair Program provides an option for “two ventricle” circulation in newborns and children who are being considered for, or have undergone, single ventricle repair.

Congenital Heart Valve Program

We are dedicated to the care of children and adults with congenital heart defects that involve absent or poorly functioning heart valves.

Division of Cardiac Imaging

Our Division of Cardiac Imaging provides detailed pictures of your child’s heart that allow cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to best map out treatment strategies.

Electrophysiology Service

Our Electrophysiology Service offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options for children — and adults — who have an abnormal heart rhythm.

Exercise Physiology Lab

At the Exercise Physiology Lab, we use exercise tests — such as running on a treadmill — to predict how your or your child’s cardiopulmonary system responds to exercise or other physical activities.

Fetal Cardiology Program

Our team in the Fetal Cardiology Program has the expertise and experience to help parents facing a prenatal heart diagnosis. When you come to Boston Children’s, you will be seen by a team of physicians, nurses, and other specialists who have experience with the many problems that can affect infants before birth and who understand how this can impact your whole family.

Fontan Clinic

The Fontan Clinic serves children and adults born with a single ventricle heart defect who have had a Fontan procedure.

Heart Failure Program

The Heart Failure Program is a team of physicians, nurses, and other clinical specialists who are experts at treating children with heart failure.

Heart Transplant Program

The Heart Transplant Program at Boston Children’s Hospital is one of the largest pediatric heart transplant centers in the country.

Heart Tumor Program

The Heart Tumor Program is a comprehensive program specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric heart tumors, also called cardiac tumors, as well as other masses involving the heart.

Heterotaxy Program

Our Heterotaxy Program provides a full range of care for patients with this rare condition, from diagnosis and treatment through a lifetime of follow up.

Inherited Cardiac Arrhythmia Program

The Inherited Cardiac Arrhythmia Program is a clinical, research, and educational program focused on investigating and managing patients with inherited arrhythmic and sudden cardiac arrest syndromes.

Kawasaki Disease Program

The Kawasaki Disease Program provides coordinated care for patients with Kawasaki disease, both during the acute phase and in long-term follow-up.

Preventive Cardiology Clinic
