We specialize in family centered treatment, which means that from your first visit, you’ll work with a team of professionals who are committed to meeting your child's medical needs while providing emotional, psychosocial, and educational support for your family.

General information

Visit Patient Resources for general information on everything from parking and directions, including a virtual tour and preparing for your visit. You can also find information on financial and billing matters, such as paying a bill, requesting an estimate, or answers to billing questions.

Make an appointment

We have specialists for every condition. You can request an initial appointment by calling 617-355-6008 or by using our online request an appointment form. Before reaching out, please have the following information on hand:

  • your child’s full name, address, and date of birth
  • your full name, address, phone number, and relationship to the child
  • your insurance provider’s name (for example, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts), the name of the specific plan covering the child (for example, HMO Blue), and your subscriber identification number
  • referrals or authorizations from your child's primary care doctor's office, if applicable

We are always available to offer a second opinion for your child and to set up a consultation with one of our specialists. Now you can access the expertise of a world-renowned pediatric specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital from the comfort of your own home.

The Online Second Opinion Program allows patients and families with complex medical questions or concerns access to an expert second opinion from our pediatric specialists without having to physically travel to Boston.

International patients

Our Global Services team meets the special needs of international families. Our team includes multilingual case coordinators who can help answer questions and arrange care.
