Researcher | Research Background

Shanshan Liu is a biostatistician in the Biostatistics and Research Design Center of the Institutional Centers for Clinical and Translational Research (ICCTR)

Shanshan Liu's research focuses on studying the factors that affect the quality of pediatric care using measures such as the Child Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Hospital Survey (Child HCAHPS) and the 30-Day Pediatric Readmissions. Her research interests also include studying patient safety through adverse events measured by the Global Assessment of Pediatric Patient Safety (GAPPS) trigger tool.

Ms. Liu joined BCH as a biostatistician in 2017 and has been providing statistical support to collaborators on various topics since then.

Before BCH, she worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review, conducting meta analysis and cost-effectiveness evaluation for pharmaceutical agents.
