Dr. Stack’s research interests include the evaluation of resource utilization and standardization of care in the ED. Her recent work has focused on the development and implementation of evidence based guidelines for care in the pediatric emergency department. She is an expert in quality improvement.
Researcher | Research Background
Dr. Stack received her MD from Harvard Medical School. She completed residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Stack has recently served as Co-Chair of the PEM Special Interest Group of the Academic Pediatric Association. She is currently Co-Chair of the Evidence-Based Guideline Committee of the Committee on Quality Transformation of the Section of PEM of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Stack joined the faculty of the Division of Emergency Medicine at Children’s Hospital in 1993.
