Elizabeth Quinby | Professional History

Elizabeth Quinby began her career in 2008 as a registered nurse at Baystate Children’s hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where she remained for ten years. During her time in the NICU, she became certified as a breastfeeding resource nurse in order to provide up to date breastfeeding support to the families throughout their hospital stay. During her tenor, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Westfield State University. She than took a position as a Pediatric Flex Nurse where she trained throughout the children’s hospital, including the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), pediatric emergency room, medical surgical floor, post anesthesia care unit (PACU), newborn nursery, and the NICU. Most recently, Elizabeth received a Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, MA where she became board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a focus in primary care, and is looking forward to joining the PAHC family.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner, my philosophy is that good care is child-centered, family-focused, and collaborative. I believe all children and their families should be treated with compassion, empathy, and made to feel as partners in the provision of care.
