Welcome to Walden Pond Pediatrics.
As a preferred member of the Pediatric Physicians Organization of Children's Hospital and in compliance with the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines, we strive to provide high-quality, family-centered and integrative care with the personal touch that only a solo practice can provide. We differentiate ourselves by providing the "mom-and-pop" feel of a medical practice while dedicating ample time during your visit for questions in the setting of a modern office.
Our mission is to support your child's growth from birth to adolescence, just as the roots of a tree support each individual branch. We view the foundation of your child's growth and development rooted in the care provided in the first 24-36 months of their lives, which is integral for a sustained healthy lifestyle thereafter. Preventive care during the seasons is paramount to exceptional care for your child and we pride ourselves in the transparency of the patient care from Dr. Bakshi and her staff. Lastly, we value community development and sponsor activities for our youth throughout the year.
We offer a full range of pediatric care including prenatal visits for expecting parents, well–child examinations that include newborn hospital visits, immunizations, as well as sick or urgent appointments and management of chronic medical conditions. We also offer lactation support services for interested parents.

Dr. Bakshi welcomed us not only as patients on her schedule, but as friends as well. She was always so professional, while also being compassionate and supportive. Thank you for being my number one supporter throughout my breastfeeding journey.
