Katie Warner | Professional History

Katie Warner, LICSW, is a clinical social worker with over 10 years of professional experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. She received her BA from Middlebury College where she studied Theatre Arts and her MSW from Simmons College School of Social Work. She began her career as an Early Intervention service coordinator in East Boston and surrounding areas—providing direct developmental support to young children, facilitating parent/caregiver support and psychoeducational groups, as well as leading social skills playgroups. After leaving the EI field, she transitioned to outpatient psychotherapy—primarily supporting young people with developmental and behavioral needs and their parents. Katie most commonly uses elements of CBT, mindfulness, and expressive therapy approaches in her work. She is passionate about identifying and encouraging the unique strengths of each person and family she sees. When not at the office, Katie enjoys dancing, hiking, and spending time with her family.
