Juliet Ochura | Professional History

Juliet grew up in Kenya where she completed undergraduate and graduate education and Kenyatta and Maseno Universities (respectively). Prior to relocating to the US, she worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Kenya conducting medical research on HIV and other infectious diseases and developing HIV prevention behavioral interventions. Juliet is also a graduate of the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. During graduate school, she completed several internships including both adult inpatient and pediatric outpatient at Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her post graduate clinical fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology at Boston Children’s Hospital and has continued her career here since. Her principal clinical responsibilities include diagnostic clinical feeding evaluations, modified barium swallow studies, and feeding therapy. Juliet is also a provider within the multidisciplinary Growth and Nutrition Program.
