Taryn Cronin | Professional History

Taryn Cronin is a graduate of Bridgewater State University and Northeastern University and completed her post graduate clinical fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Taryn’s primary clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical feeding evaluations and therapy in the Boston and Weymouth sites.  She also performs instrumental assessment of swallow function through modified barium swallow studies in Boston.  Taryn provides feeding and swallowing therapy to children with sensory and/or oral motor based feeding difficulties through weekly individual and group feeding therapy.  Taryn is also involved in the Growth and Nutrition Program which is a multidisciplinary clinic including Gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, social workers, and behavioral psychologists.  In addition, Taryn has clinical interest and experience with diverse populations including feeding and swallowing disorders in premature infants, children with congenital cardiac disease, children with Trisomy 21, children with genetic and chromosomal disorders, and children with airway and esophageal abnormalities.  Taryn recently presented at The Innovative Care in Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Conference at Boston Children’s Hospital.
