Rahma Hida | Professional History
Dr. Hida’s training is notable for comprehensive experiences at virtually all levels of care in a variety of settings, including schools, primary care, outpatient clinics, partial hospitalization programs, emergency department, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and- most extensively- inpatient medical settings providing consultation-liaison psychological services to patients, families, and medical teams. The vast majority of Dr. Hida’s practice has taken place in academic medical centers that value evidence-based care, applied research and scholarship, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Hida’s clinical- and research interests are broadly focused on developing strategies to support patients and families historically underserved by behavioral health institutions, including culturally and linguistically diverse families and patients with comorbid medical and psychiatric concerns.
