National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) is an annual observance held in August. The American Academy of Pediatrics is using this month to spread its message that vaccines are safe and effective, and vaccines save lives. Make sure your child is up-to-date on all of their vaccines to help keep them protected and healthy.
