Current Environment: Development

Because we strongly endorse the maintenance of good health, we routinely perform screening tests for hearing, vision, anemia, urinary problems, lead poisoning, tuberculosis (TB), cholesterol, and developmental problems. Additional tests may be recommended by your child’s provider. These tests are billed to insurance plans, but the fee is ultimately your responsibility if your provider does not cover them. We follow usual and customary fee schedules for pediatric services in this area.

If required by your insurer, a primary care physician (PCP) should be selected at the time of the initial visit. If your insurer does not require this, we still recommend that your child see one provider for their well child care (physicals) to ensure continuity and the highest quality of care.

Many other plans are also accepted; if your insurer is not listed, please call our billing office at 978-535-1110, option 7. If we have a contract with your insurance carrier, claims will be submitted directly to them by our billing office.

As a courtesy to you, we will also submit claims to other commercial carriers. If payment is not received within 30 days, however, it will become your responsibility to pay for the services and resolve any payment problems directly with your insurance company.

In a case of financial hardship, the billing office will work with you to establish a reasonable payment plan. Should you have no insurance coverage, or should you lose your coverage at any time, special arrangements can be made by physician approval to assure continuity of care. The billing office staff is always ready to work with you to resolve any outstanding financial issues.
