Nutrition consultation
Katelyn Castro, MS, RD received her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and minor in Psychology from Syracuse University; her master’s degree in Nutrition Science at Tufts University; dietetic training at Tufts Medical Center. She then pursued further training in pediatrics and eating disorders through the Leadership Education Adolescent Health Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Additionally, she has worked as a dietitian at McLean Hospital (Klarman Eating Disorder Center) and Boston Children’s Hospital (Division of Adolescent/Young Adults and Endocrinology).
Katelyn works with a variety of nutritional issues, including (but not limited to):
- Food allergies
- Failure to thrive
- Nutritional concerns related to prematurity
- Developmental disabilities
- Feeding and eating disorders
- Tube feedings and specialized formulas
- Overweight
- Vegetarian
- Constipation
- Elevated cholesterol
